Description
If you are planning from Sydney, Seoul or Ho Chi Minh City, you will probably meet your venue first as a set of resort photos, and the photos will not tell you what you most want to know. Choosing between Nha Trang wedding venues is less about the view than about the details behind it: which way the sun falls, how strong the wind is, how the flowers reach the beach, and where the ceremony moves if it rains.
Most couples who write to Jolie Mai Wedding & Events from abroad share the same worry. They will not be in Nha Trang to check anything, and they fear the day will not look like the pictures. For a destination wedding Nha Trang, this page answers that worry with what a decorator sees after 12 years of setting up weddings around the bay: the venue types, the resorts already styled, the real costs, and the questions to ask before you pay a deposit.
What kinds of Nha Trang wedding venues are there?
There are five kinds of Nha Trang wedding venues that couples usually compare. Each suits a different guest count, a different travel plan and a different kind of evening.
| Venue type | Best for | Getting there | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private beach of a city resort | Beach ceremony, dinner by the sea | Car to the resort door | Easy to set up; the resort usually has an indoor hall for rain |
| Island resort | Small, private weddings over several days | Boat or cable transfer | Flowers, frames and crew cross by boat, so the schedule needs spare time |
| Long Beach – Cam Ranh resort | Guests flying straight into Cam Ranh airport | Car from the airport or the city | Long open beach, stronger wind than inside the bay |
| Private villa or garden | Intimate dinners, families who want their own timing | Depends on the house | Power, rain tent and parking must be arranged |
| Hotel ballroom or restaurant | Large receptions, no weather risk | In the city centre | Ceremony outdoors, dinner indoors is a common mix |
Many couples combine two types for a wedding in Nha Trang. The vows happen on the beach in the late afternoon, then the dinner moves to the lawn or the ballroom of the same resort.
Nha Trang wedding venues Jolie Mai has decorated
The list below only includes places where the Jolie Mai team has built a real wedding setup. It is grouped by area, because resorts in the same area share the same delivery road, the same wind and the same travel time.
North Nha Trang: Amiana, Boma, Alibu
These are the Nha Trang wedding venues closest to the city, all on Pham Van Dong road along the northern coast. Amiana has its own beach and two outdoor areas that host weddings of 100 to 300 guests, according to the Amiana weddings page.
Trucks can drive close to the setup area here. That means an arch, an aisle and a long dinner table can all be built in one afternoon. The detail that needs care is where to put the stage, so it does not block the sea view for guests in the back rows.
Island resorts: Vinpearl Hon Tre and Six Senses Ninh Van Bay
Vinpearl sits on Hon Tre island, inside Nha Trang Bay. Six Senses Ninh Van Bay lies further north and can only be reached by boat. The two are very different in scale: Vinpearl takes large receptions, while Six Senses suits a small, private wedding in Nha Trang Bay.
On an island, everything travels across the water. Frames, fabric, lights, flowers and the crew go by boat on the resort’s schedule. Jolie Mai prepares most of the decor in the workshop, keeps spare time for the crossing, and brings extra flowers, because there is no way to fetch more from the mainland halfway through the setup.
Long Beach – Cam Ranh: The Anam, Alma, Mia, Cam Ranh Riviera, Mövenpick
These five resorts stretch along Nguyen Tat Thanh road in the south, near Cam Ranh airport. Guests flying in from abroad or from Ho Chi Minh City can reach the resort without driving into the city. For a destination wedding Nha Trang with many guests arriving by air, this is the most convenient area.
The beach here is long and open, with few hills behind it, so the ceremony has a wide horizon. The trade-off is wind. Arches need heavy bases or deep anchors in the sand, voile is cut short enough to move without flying, and candles go inside glass. At Mövenpick Resort Cam Ranh, Jolie Mai set the ceremony on a grass hill above the sea under a white arch with blue and white flowers, then moved the dinner to a courtyard stage framed in gold.
Vinh Hy Bay: Amanoi
Amanoi sits on a hill above Vinh Hy Bay, the furthest place on this list, about an hour by car from Cam Ranh airport. It suits very small weddings where guests stay together for a few days.
A venue this remote means flowers and materials are ordered earlier than usual. The resort also prefers natural materials: wood, rattan, linen, fresh flowers and leaves. Jolie Mai writes the material list around the resort’s rules from the first survey, so the design does not change at the last minute.
Villas and private gardens
Not every wedding in Nha Trang happens at a resort. Many families choose their own villa or rent one with a garden, to keep their own timing and invite only the closest people. At these Nha Trang wedding venues the decorator takes on jobs a resort normally covers: a rain tent, enough power for the lights, parking and an easy path for older relatives.
A beach ceremony at Ana Marina, from the decorator’s side
The photos on this page come from one wedding styled by Jolie Mai on the beach at Ana Marina Nha Trang, a yacht harbour in Nha Trang Bay. Green hills rise across the water, and yachts sit at the pier behind the ceremony.
The ceremony backdrop was a low, wide mound of flowers instead of a tall arch. White hydrangea and baby’s breath made the base, with peach and coral roses and golden dried stems rising through it. A low backdrop keeps the sea and the hills visible behind the couple, which matters when the view is the reason you chose the venue.
Wooden chairs with woven rope backs lined both sides of the aisle. Small clusters of white and coral flowers sat in the sand at the ends of the rows, with round orange blooms on tall stems for height. White paper cones hung on the chair backs.
The bride and groom read their vows in front of the flower mound, holding their notes. The bridesmaids wore champagne satin and carried small posies in the same peach tones as the ceremony flowers, so the colours stayed together in every group photo.
The light was soft that day, with a grey sky. Guests held clear umbrellas, and the white flowers read well in flat light, where stronger colours would have looked heavy.
When the ceremony ended, guests lined the aisle and threw white petals as the couple walked out. At the kiss, white balloons were released over the flower mound.
Sun, wind and rainy season for a wedding in Nha Trang
For any outdoor wedding in Nha Trang, the ceremony time decides how the photos look. Sunset is around 17:20 in December and around 18:10 in June.
Because the sea lies to the east, the sun does not set over the water here, as it does in Phu Quoc. The late light comes from the mountains instead. It falls on the couple’s faces and turns the sea behind them gold. The best window for vows is about one hour before sunset. Dinner starts as the sky turns deep blue and the warm lights and candles begin to show.
The rainy season usually runs from September to December, with the heaviest rain in October and November. From January to August the weather is mostly dry and sunny. Whatever the month, Jolie Mai asks the resort for an indoor or covered backup, and designs the main pieces so they can move inside within one to two hours.
How a destination wedding Nha Trang works when you live abroad
Most couples who choose Nha Trang wedding venues live in another city or another country. The steps below are arranged so a wedding in Nha Trang can be planned without flying in more than once.
- Video call (first week): your story, guest count, budget and the venues you are considering. Calls run on Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp or Zalo.
- Two design options: sketches and an itemised list. You choose one and give feedback for up to two rounds.
- Contract and deposit: the contract lists every item, its price and the change policy. It can be signed as a scanned PDF.
- Venue survey: at least 7 days before the wedding, the team measures the site and works with the resort’s events team.
- Progress photos: sent by email or Zalo while materials are prepared and during the setup day.
- Setup day: frames, fabric and lights go up first; flowers go in last so they are fresh when the ceremony starts.
- Teardown: at the time the resort sets, leaving the space as it was found.
One coordinator stays with you from the first call to the teardown, so you only need one contact. Conversations are in English.
What does decoration cost at Nha Trang wedding venues?
Decoration prices depend on the size of the wedding and the items included, not on the name of the resort. The three destination wedding Nha Trang packages below are the starting prices in the Jolie Mai 2025–2026 price list. All prices are in Vietnamese dong (VND).
| Package | Price | Guests | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tinh Te | VND 30,000,000 | 60–100 | Silk flower backdrop, simple stage, simple aisle, photo gallery, concept from existing designs |
| Lang Man | VND 55,000,000 | 100–200 | Large backdrop with fresh flower accents, fresh flowers on both sides of the aisle, gallery, welcome table, photo booth, accent lighting, personal concept |
| Tron Ven | From VND 80,000,000 | 200+, beach weddings | Custom fresh flower backdrop, fresh flower aisle with candles, lounge area, art lighting across the whole space |
These starting prices apply to all Nha Trang wedding venues, in the city and outside it. What changes from place to place are the extras.
Extras that often depend on the venue:
- Island resorts: boat transfer for materials and crew, quoted after checking the resort’s boat schedule.
- Venues outside the city (Long Beach, Cam Ranh, Vinh Hy): travel is quoted item by item after the survey.
- Outside vendor fee: charged by some resorts, not all. Ask your resort before you sign the venue contract.
- Coordination: a full-day program with script, guest welcome and six staff costs VND 25,000,000.
- Videography: from VND 5,000,000 for one camera; drone footage adds VND 4,000,000.
- Bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere: from VND 800,000 per set.
- Family altar for a Vietnamese tea ceremony at home: from VND 7,000,000.
Payment is split into three parts. The first is a deposit to hold the date when you sign. The second is due about 7 days before setup, bringing the total paid to around 70%. The last is paid after the wedding. Every item and price is written in the contract, and changes happen only when you request them in writing.
Questions to ask before you book a venue for your wedding in Nha Trang
The venue contract is usually signed before the decoration contract. These six questions help you avoid limits that only appear when the crew arrives.
- Setup and teardown times. An outdoor ceremony with an arch, an aisle and dinner tables needs at least half a day to build.
- Outside decorators. Are they allowed, and is there a fee?
- Material rules. Many resorts do not allow glitter, confetti cannons or open flames on the beach.
- Outdoor power. How many sockets, where they are, and whether cables can run onto the sand.
- Rain plan. Which hall or covered area is held for you, and the latest time to switch.
- Delivery access. How close trucks can get, whether there is a service lift, and boat times for islands.
If you have not signed with a resort yet, the Jolie Mai team can survey with you, or answer these questions from previous weddings at the same place.

FAQ about Nha Trang wedding venues
Which Nha Trang wedding venues are best for a beach ceremony?
Resorts with a private beach are the simplest choice, because they need no public permit and have a hall ready if it rains. In the city, look at Amiana, Boma and Alibu on Pham Van Dong road. For a longer, more open beach, choose a resort on Long Beach near Cam Ranh.
Can we hold the ceremony on the public beach in the city centre?
The public beach on Tran Phu road needs a separate permit, has people walking through all day, and offers little privacy. That is why Jolie Mai recommends a resort’s private beach, or a terrace or garden with a sea view at a hotel.
How far ahead should we book for a destination wedding Nha Trang?
Book the resort 6 to 12 months ahead, especially for the dry months from January to August. Reserve the decorator as soon as you have a date and venue, since popular dates often have several weddings at once.
Is a wedding in Nha Trang possible in the rainy season?
Yes, with a backup plan. October and November are the wettest months. Jolie Mai designs the main pieces to move into a hall or under cover within one to two hours, and agrees the time to decide with the resort in advance.
Which Nha Trang wedding venues are closest to Cam Ranh airport?
The resorts on Long Beach – Cam Ranh: The Anam, Alma, Mia, Cam Ranh Riviera and Mövenpick. The city centre is about 35 km from the airport. If most guests land on the day, a venue in this area saves them a long drive.
Which venues suit a wedding of fewer than 50 guests?
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay and Amanoi suit small weddings where guests stay together for several days. The grass lawns by the sea on Long Beach also work well for 30 to 50 guests, with one long table instead of round ones.
Do we need to fly to Nha Trang before the wedding?
No. Consultation, design approval and the contract can all be done online. The team surveys the venue for you and sends progress photos. Many couples arrive one or two days before their wedding in Nha Trang.
Can we include a Vietnamese tea ceremony as well?
Yes. Many families hold the tea ceremony at home in the morning, then the beach ceremony at the resort in the afternoon and dinner in the evening. Both setups follow one shared schedule, with the start and finish time for each place written down.
What does a destination wedding Nha Trang package include?
Every package covers design, materials, setup on the day and teardown. The Lang Man package at VND 55,000,000 adds fresh flowers along the aisle, a welcome table, a photo booth and accent lighting. Boat transfers, travel outside the city and resort vendor fees are quoted separately.
Will Jolie Mai work at a resort that is not on this list?
Yes. The list shows where the team has already worked, not a limit. For a new venue, Jolie Mai surveys at least 7 days ahead and works directly with the resort’s events team.
Before you choose
For a wedding in Nha Trang, a beautiful beach in a photo is only half the answer. The other half is the sun, the wind, the delivery road and the resort’s backup hall, and those are things a decorator learns by working there.
If you are comparing a few Nha Trang wedding venues, send the names, your date and your guest count to joliemaiwedding@gmail.com, or call or message +84 909 993 928 on WhatsApp or Zalo. Jolie Mai will reply with photos of weddings already built at those places, so you can compare before you pay a deposit.
